Bridge Creek

Artist Dave Stencel with Magissiwa, a 7 year old Bald Eagle. She was abandoned as a chick and then rescued from a fall. She fully recovered became an imprint, never able to survive on her own. Her name comes from the Ojibwe word Migizi, meaning bald Eagle. She is now seen, loved and admired by thousands of people who see her in the enviromental education programs put on by the wonderful people of HawkQuest. The people of these groups truly walk in reverence with the wild ones and inspire us to carve.
